After 29 days of rain in January we finally got some sunshine. This week was a beautiful week and the view on the mountains surrounding Vancouver is magnificent.
This is the view on Mount Baker from Boundary Bay, south of Vancouver. Mount Baker can only be seen on a clear day, suddenly in the background there is this enormous mountain. It is standing in Washington state in the US.
On the beach of Boundary Bay lies a lot of wood. You can find logs on all the beaches here. Most of them are from logging. The logs are transported on the rivers and some of them drift of.
This is the view downtown. My work is nearby and when I’m finished working I have to walk to the water to look at the mountains before I get on the skytrain.
